Sharing special previews of Pushkin’s show Bad Women: Ripper Retold and this month’s Pushkin+ episode, ‘The Dog-tor WIll See You Now’
You know the story: In 1888, five female prostitutes were brutally murdered in a London slum-- attacks so violent the killer earned a nickname: Jack the Ripper. For centuries, we have assumed these women were indeed “Bad Women,” ...but what if everything we know about them is wrong?
Historian Hallie Rubenhold has uncovered the true stories of the Ripper’s victims. Polly, Annie, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary Jane all struggled against the misogyny that thrived in Victorian England, until they found themselves in the path of one of the most vicious killers in history.
Bad Women is rich in historical detail and suspenseful enough to satisfy any true crime fan. You can binge the entire season now at https://link.chtbl.com/revisionistbadwomen

Great Podcast

Edutainment is both a deeply unfair and yet perfect word for this podcast. I learn so much, and the content is delivered in an artful and entertaining manner. Recommend it everyone I know.

10/10. Would recommend.

I love all things Malcolm. I have listened to each episode multiple times, I will talk about them with anyone who will listen, and I have recommended this podcast to everyone I know. I appreciate the way Malcolm looks at the world, and how he challenges us to look at everything around us through different eyes. If you are looking for your next podcast, this is it!

PS - I also recommend all of his audiobooks.

This Podcast has gone downhill

I used to LOVE the Podcast, they were so intellectually stimulating and relevant that you could think about the content for days, even years after… except of course the musical episodes, they just seemed self indulgent. But Now, now it is mostly ads for other Puskin programs that are average at best… I honestly removed this from my playlist because I don’t know what I am going to get. It breaks my heart
