Rough Translation

I love the stories on Rough Translation. They paint a vivid picture and after the stories are done I feel like I have a tiny wider view of the world.

Intelligent and touching

I just listened to their latest episode “American Surrogate”. As a new father and a Canadian living in China, I was extremely moved by this beautiful podcast. These podcasts are non sensational stories about human societies, interactions between different cultures. They analyze the subtle aspects of our globalized world, reminding the listener that the most interesting international stories are not always the loudest.
