Love it!
Meg, Amanda and Kate I love your podcast and always find it very inspiring. The episode with Julian was brilliant — super interesting and entertaining. Thanks for all your hard work! And be sure to have Julian on again!!
Why I enjoy the podcast
Hello ladies, Meg I’m a sister Torontonian.. yeahhh! Love the chit chat and the great dynamic shared on the show. I get sad as an episode comes to and end. I do follow you on IG, the content is fantastic. I’m a fairly new sewist,I took a few sewing courses at Centennial College out in Oshawa Ontario.I took the skirt making course where we use the vogue student pattern to construct our skirts from there we did a button down shirt collar and cuffs course after that I took a drapery 1 and then drapery 2 course. followed by the pants making course where we had to draft our own pants pattern and then pattern making 1 course. I still need pattern making two and three dress making jacket making and alterations to feel like a completed sewist. This is a certificate-based course each course runs between 12 to 14 weeks long one night a week for 3 1/2 hours. Lots of home work. We don’t work with store-bought patterns our instructor either designs them or we create them ourselves. I don’t even know how to cut out a store pattern (lol) but is something I want to try. I am a Tailors size 10, which means I don’t have to much alternate on our patterns as we draft them out.
Listening to your podcast gives me my sewing mojo, please don’t ever stop. I have shared the link to your podcast with many of my fellow students as we are all home and not able to attend her courses due to Covid. Its so wonderful to have podcast such as yours to keep us in lightened and entertained thank you. Ok back to my machine.. I’m currently making mask... aren’t we all.. take care stay well
