A group of friends have their lives turned upside down when they find themselves placed as the last line of defense between the everyday world and the things that go bump in the night.
This actual play podcast uses Monster of the Week and other Powered by the Apocalypse games, all within the same dimension hopping narrative, to follow the Indiana Paranormal Task-force (IPT) as they are thrust into the front lines of a battle they didn't know existed.

Across the Universe (S5, E1)
Our heroes have traveled through their brand new portal to find themselves in outer space. Jake has a shocking revelation. Tass discovers a name from their past. Megan notices that they are not alone. Kim finds a dire shortage of an important resource. As they maneuver to the planet below, in a much transformed version of the IPT Cruiser, they must make a difficult decision about where to start. The wrong path could mean immediate annihilation.

Our heroes finally get a look at The Immortals in person. Tass takes a rough elevator ride. Jake notices a critical detail. Kim resorts to brutality. Megan tries to divert an enemy’s attention. While getting a better scope of the complex’s layout, the team discovers some unexpected guests. The question becomes whether to press on, or deal with the devil behind them.

Smoke and Space Pirates (S5, E4)
Our heroes are under extreme pressure as they face enemies on two fronts. Kim employs some ninja tactics. Megan finds an important weakness. Jake impersonates a factory employee. With Tass out of commission and the rest of the team split across the facility, they have to figure out how to fight, sneak or talk their way out of their corners and get back together.

The Teal House (S5, E5)
Our heroes are still split up as Tass remains unconscious and alone. Despite his state, Tass still manages to discover another tenant of the facility. While suspended in a bag of fluid in The Forge, he must use his mind palace to try to decipher an odd creature’s role in the factory. If he can figure out how to escape his own mind, he might have a chance of helping his friends.

These people make my day
A soon as I finished season 4 I was like why must rev leave us on such a dope cliffhanger One of my favourite parts of season 4 was when Kim was makeing an “alliance” with aiden chambers after he killed strome ( idk if I spelt strome wrong but I don’t care) and then the rest of the just entered the room with a Pegasus and a nightmare just like “hello we,exist” Overall a really good show and lots of laughs too and some of the situations are just really funny I recommend this show for people who like a action packed podcast with lots of funny jokes and moments Side note my favourite character is the like and subscribe guy he just appears out of nowhere!

The number of times I finish listening to an episode while cursing Rev’s (the Keeper’s) name might suggest I don’t like this podcast. However it’s such an absolute blast to listen to. A wonderful romp through a fantastical world with plenty of laughs, some sadness, and a whole lotta heart. I don’t usually have the focus to stick with a podcast but this is a turning point for me. Thanks, the Critshow cast, for letting us join you in your fun!

This podcast is just plain awesome. These guys are spectacular at weaving stories through the lens of their characters. Great character voices and storylines. They also do a great job playing and explaining the mechanics of the Monster of the Week Powered by the Apocalypse system. The guys have awesome chemistry together too. I look forward to every episode each week. Keep up the great work!
