    Slow growth does not mean playing small, and if you start each day by asking : What’s today’s edge? What’s the next right step I can take today? And then you actually take that step, your life is going to expand and evolve at an appropriate but nonetheless remarkable rate. You’re just doing the next thing that’s right in front of you, right on the edge, right outside your comfort zone aka The Zone of Lies. It’s just right there, right in front of you. It’s obvious. You don’t need to guess what it is. If you just take a moment of contemplation, you will know. To that end, something I’ve become fond of saying is slow is the new fast. These are micro-movements. Slow is the new fast, because it’s right sized and it keeps you moving at a steady pace without freaking yourself out or burning yourself out. “Slow is the new fast” means that your growth edge is simply the next right step in your evolution, and by “right” I mean aligned with and guided by Soul… or, if you prefer, your vision for your life. *If you’d like to subscribe to one (or both!) of my Patreon podcasts, you can do that HERE.     Something weird and cool happens when you work with an archetype for many years. It starts to change along with you. This makes sense if you look at archetypes as universal patterns of energy that are uniquely expressing through the different parts of your personality. As you grow, they grow. This is particularly true if you find one lurking in the shadows and decide to raise it up with care. It is then that the light of your awareness draws it toward the surface to be expressed and integrated into the wholeness of your being.     You are not a machine. You are not a computer. You are a unique expression of The Divine, a moving, breathing, feeling child of Nature. As long you are here on this planet, you are capable of growth and change. Stay rooted in the soil of your rich inner life, tending to it like a precious garden, and keep expanding by the light of awareness. The nourishment is in the soil. The growth is in the light. New beliefs can’t be rewired into you. You are not an electrical appliance. You can’t reprogram your nervous system by installing a new operating system. But you can nurture new growth through daily cultivation. And you are naturally creative.
