How engineered does a dip pen need to be? Apparently VERY engineered is the answer, and we are here for it. We discuss that very interesting pen, Brad’s new Ultra Extra Fine nib, and the design heather that Leonardo has been on this year.
The Hurley School of Pen Usage
Adina is back! And this time, she has comics in tow. How is she making them? What pens and paper is she using? How did she decide what colors of Sailor Ink Studio to purchase? All of that, and more, in this awesome episode.
Global Monetary Markets
How do price increases affect retailers? How about consumers? Are we heading towards a tipping point in a few years? Brad has no clue, but he would like to find out. We also talk new products from Platinum, and new decisions from Kaweco
We Are Now Under New Ownership
No, not The Pen Addict, but our good friends over at Retro 51 have officially made the transition. We also discuss Brad’s foray back into fountain pens, Presidential writing instruments, and Sailor price increases.
Great Day to Start a New Notebook
It’s new notebook day for Brad, and there are many great reasons as to why. We also discuss Retro 51 sale news, and dig into a big batch of #ASKTPA.

A n excellent (if niche) podcast!
I have just finished listening to every episode of this podcast, and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recently was introduced into the world of fountain pens, and this podcast has been an amazing companion as I’ve learned and explored the hobby. A big thanks to Brad and Myke!
Finally someone who gets me!
I love pens and pencils. I am constantly on the lookout for the perfect pen or mechanical pencil. Going to a Staples store is like being in a toy store for me. I know this podcast sounds like it is made for Geeks, but really it's not. Listen to a few episodes and you will be a 'pen addict' also.
If you have even a slight interest in pens, tune in. I started at the beginning and have enjoyed learning with Myke and Brad, and now get much more enjoyment out of using pens and paper than I ever have. Great podcast!
