    Data centers are reshaping infrastructure design, particularly for cooling systems and underground utilities. In this episode of the Poly Podcast, we sit down with Andy McElroy of McElroy Manufacturing to discuss why HDPE and PPR-CT are increasingly specified for this rapidly expanding market. The conversation examines how hyperscalers evaluate piping systems through performance, constructibility and long term reliability. Andy explains why fusible HDPE is widely used for underground chilled water, process water, wastewater and conduit applications. Inside facilities, PPR-CT is gaining traction where higher operating temperatures and dimensional stability are required. Key drivers include corrosion resistance, system cleanliness, reduced weight and hydraulic performance.
