Real-life perspective - Draymond Green & Jordan Poole
This one is relevant to my industry. It's a common topic of talk amongst all sport enthusiasts and leagues. Fighting is something that happens often, it builds hype and gives onlookers a chance to critique.
I wanted to hear what Tee and Shea thought, their perspective and how honest and risky they would be with the topic.
Tee's views were honest - she spoke on it from a mothers viewpoint and businesswoman viewpoint. Great convo - truthful and honest. -

Brown Ballers - Fortune 500 Companies and the 30% of Brown Ballers That Lead Them
This episode exists to expel the idea that brown CEOs only exist in tech. The new CEO of Starbucks is Indian. CEOs of South Asian descent are crushing it in every industry, with 30% of Fortune 500 companies being led by one. Nav and G thoughtfully break down possible reasons for this, how to shift perception away from being tech-centered, and why we don't know these ballers' names. The last being a perfect advertisement for why you need to listen to the Brown Ballers podcast.

** JJ Redick ** on Survival of the Fitted
For this week's episode, I choose Survival of the Fitted when JJ Redick joined the boys. A masterpiece of an interview where Joe met his idol JJ Redick and got to clear the air on his fandom. From the ultimate maaaaaaaan to one of the greatest to ever dawn a Blue Devil jersey. This was also an episode where I think Joe showed how great he was at this craft. Duke fashion, NBA career and a lot more to break down with JJ Redick as dawns his presence on one of the funniest podcast episodes to ever grace our network. Duke fashion, NBA career and a lot more to break down. Hope you all enjoy one of my favourite episodes and a legendary discussion.

WSLAM - Addressing Mental Health and Turning Pain into Power
From Morgan - for this week's TLP submission, I chose Jordan Nixon’s episode on Get With It called “Addressing Mental Health and Turning Pain into Power”. I chose this because I found that what Jordan had to say really hit home for me. As a former athlete, you always hear coaches drill into their players the idea of “Mental Toughness” and the connotation that if you can’t handle the environment your in then you’re mentally “soft”. Young Athletes need to hear, more often, athletes like Jordan talking about how important it is to prioritize your mental health! The stigma surrounding the topic needs to be beaten!
