    In October 2014, Rico Harris left Southern California to begin a new chapter of his life in Seattle. He never arrived. Days later, his abandoned car was discovered in a remote parking area near Cache Creek in Yolo County, California. Inside were his wallet, credit cards, and personal belongings. Nearby, investigators recovered his backpack, cellphone, and a series of photographs and videos showing Rico alive after reaching the area. Witnesses later reported seeing a man matching his unique description walking near the scene, and investigators discovered large footprints leading toward the creek. Despite helicopters, search dogs, divers, thermal imaging aircraft, and years of investigation, Rico Harris has never been found.
