UNSEEN is the new urban fantasy audio fiction podcast by Long Story Short Productions. The premise behind it is simple: in a world where magic is real but invisible to almost everyone, for the few magical beings that exist every day is a struggle just to be seen.

Season one of UNSEEN will feature ten different stories of identity, connection, and personhood (and, of course, magic) in the modern world. Some of them will be thrilling adventures. Others may be sad and melancholic. Some may be creepy and unsettling. Each of them will feature a single performer, guiding the audience through a new, original modern fantasy landscape.

Magical :)

The build up is great- slowly revealing a magical world from multiple (very unique) perspectives. I would’ve happily listened to an entire story line dedicated to almost any of the characters featured in individual episodes, but they also worked perfectly as stand-alones. Excellent voice acting.

Better late than never

It took me a long time to listen to this because honestly? It just wasn’t what I wanted from the folks at long story short. Another anthology series? No thanks. Just publish a short story collection. But the thing is? It’s really freaking good. The acting is great and they do some lively and understated things with the sound design. As always the writing sparkles (at least in the episodes that are written by the LSS crew. Some of the bonus episodes fall flat). If you were skeptical too I’d say give unseen a chance, because it is really quite beautiful

Amazing!

I’m so glad I discovered this! Absolutely fantastic podcast, super imaginative and creative! Highly recommend that everyone gives it a listen.
