Mental Health Ep.

I love that you Goopettes are diving into these topics and looking into whats out there.. ! What i find typically frustrating with medical academics, is that they don’t have in depth experience with mind body interrelation. Somehow (as Dr. mentions, they hardly are get educated in Nutrition, Gut Flora or microbiome and the interrelations with the mind and hormones.. etc.) To them this is “new”?! 🤯
The field which has immense experience and documentation in the interrelations between body and mind are traditional or naturopathic medicine (european or chinese). These teachings originate in mankind’s healing traditions and have been able to be passed on over thousands of years. They have prevailed through the oppression of “modern medicine” and the medical industry. Traditional medicine carries immense holistic wisdom and knowledge. It has transformed and grown over the ages.
The things that this Dr. is mentioning are perhaps more so new to the studies of allopathic medicine. Not to be confused with the already existing traditional practice of natural medicine which has always been holistic. Having to mention that any form of healing is holistic is pleonasm. The thorough understanding of healing is naturally holistic. It is where the studies of medicine originated before the allopathic mindset (or mind-block) took over.

Please no more

The social justice episodes are not interesting. I love all the others but these ones just grate on my nerves.
