What a profound and professional investigation and podcast Jamie! The tragedy of this case: Ruja Ignatova isn’t that intelligent but people are painfully naive (or honestly direct: stupid) and greedy. Therefore, people line her are perceived as „very intelligent“… as the difference to those victims looks immense. The Age of Enlightenment, even nowadays hasn’t arrived to everyone; they prefer a show in disfavour of evident information. And yes, education plays a pivotal role here.
