    Time to Say Goodbye

    “And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain….” We are sad to say that we have come to the last episode of Where Is My Mind, and what a journey it has been. Hundreds of podcasts, world class guests, incredible human stories and a dedicated bunch of listeners who have supported us through it all.  For our last episode, Niall is joined by Ciara, who produced the first two seasons of the podcast, and Aoife, who has produced hundreds of episodes since. With a shared passion for changing how we see, treat and understand mental health and wellbeing, the trio discuss the highs and lows of the last 6 years, from how the podcasting landscape has changed to the ongoing societal shifts that impact each of us everyday. It’s a bittersweet ending but we are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved with this podcast, and we hope it encourages each of you to continue to critically thinking about the world, the space we take up in it and space it takes up in us.     Eat the Frog with Dermot Whelan

    In the modern world, being “flat out” has become a way of life—but it’s leaving us burned out, disconnected, and running on empty. In this episode, Niall sits down with Dermot Whelan—TV and radio broadcaster, comedian, author, mindfulness teacher and long time friend of the podcast—to unravel Ireland’s obsession with busyness and the toll it’s taking on our well-being. Dermot’s new book, Busy and Wrecked, explores how we’ve come to wear exhaustion like a badge of honor, why we struggle to slow down, and how we can break free from a system that constantly demands more.     Modelling Masculinity

    Many of us sat down to watch Netflix’s latest drama series this week and were immensely affected by the show Adolescence.  Niall was hit with some really big emotions watching the show, and sits down this week to put his cultural lens on some of the cracks in our society that he believes are having a massive impact on our young men. He reflects on the deep-rooted challenges they are facing today, from the scarcity of positive role models to the pressures of masculinity in an era of toxic leadership.
