    CareerTalk 14 走进艺术与古董拍卖行业

    本期我们邀请到的是北京四中校友陈依依学姐。她本科与硕士均就读于伦敦考陶尔德艺术学院（Courtauld Institute of Art），主修艺术史与经济学双专业，并辅修博物馆研究。大二暑假期间，她曾参加巴黎索邦大学的艺术史交换项目，深入研究佛教艺术史与文物保护。在本科与硕士期间，她积累了丰富的艺术相关实习经验，涉及艺术馆、当代艺术画廊及网站专栏撰稿等领域。她于2016至2022年在伦敦古董商担任Merchant及初级专家（Junior Specialist），主营中国陶瓷方向；2024年至今，她加入保利香港拍卖古董珍玩部担任高级专家（Senior Specialist）。此外，她于2023年翻译了牛津Ashmolean Museum的书籍《80件陶瓷器穿越世界》。 Our guest today is Yiyi Chen, a Beijing No. 4 High School alumna. She studied Art History and Economics with a minor in Museum Studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London for both her undergraduate and master's degrees. After an exchange program at Sorbonne University and internships across art museums, galleries, and editorial writing, she worked as a Merchant and Junior Specialist at a London antique dealer specializing in Chinese ceramics from 2016 to 2022. Since 2024, she has been a Senior Specialist in the Antiques and Curios Department at Poly Auction Hong Kong. She also translated the Ashmolean Museum's book 80 Pieces of Ceramics Crossing the World in 2023.

    本期邀请到的嘉宾是北京四中校友Luna Xu 博士。她2007年毕业于Lehigh university，当年拿下了经济学和化学工程双学位，并且以最高荣誉毕业。之后她去了哥伦比亚大学读医学院，毕业后在纽约西奈山眼耳医院完成了眼科住院医师培训，后来又回哥大专门进修了青光眼治疗。她做了五年主治医师后，在纽约斯塔滕岛创办了自己的私人诊所 Insight Ophthalmology。除外她也一直在做学术，发表过十多篇医学论文，现在在西奈山的助理临床教授。 Our guest is Dr. Luna Xu, a Beijing No. 4 High School alumna. She graduated with highest honors from Lehigh University in 2007 with a double major in Economics and Chemical Engineering, then attended Columbia medical school and completed her ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai's Eye and Ear Infirmary, later returning to Columbia for glaucoma training. After five years as an attending physician, she founded her own practice, Insight Ophthalmology, in Staten Island, New York. She remains active in academia, with over ten medical papers published, and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai.

    本期我们邀请到的是BHSF 2011届学长张强喆。他本科毕业于加州大学圣地亚哥分校（UCSD）化学工程专业，并在本科期间加入实验室从事纳米药方向的研究。本科毕业后，他继续留在该实验室攻读博士学位，方向为纳米工程（nano engineering，UCSD首创专业）。此后，他一直在圣地亚哥当地的公司从事医药研发工作，目前就职于礼来（Eli Lilly），担任蛋白工程研发职务。 Our guest today is Qiangzhe Zhang from the BHSF Class of 2011. He majored in Chemical Engineering at UC San Diego (UCSD) for his undergraduate studies. After joining a lab during his undergraduate years to work on nanomedicine, he stayed in the same lab to earn his PhD in Nano Engineering, a program pioneered by UCSD. He has since been working in the pharmaceutical R&D industry at companies in San Diego, with expertise spanning nanomedicine, nano engineering, and protein engineering, and currently works at Eli Lilly as an R&D scientist in protein engineering.

    大家好！今天我们邀请到的嘉宾是BHSF 2008届的臧安迪学长。他的本科毕业于北邮通信专业，随后在伊州理工计算机获得硕士，并在美国西北大学获得计算机博士。现在从事高精地图行业，领域涉及算法，计算几何，地理信息系统，计算机视觉，三维点云，与遥感和卫星。 Our guest today is Andi Zang from the BHSF Class of 2008. He majored in Telecommunications at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications for his undergraduate studies. After earning his master's in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology and his PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University, he has been working in the high-precision mapping industry, with expertise spanning algorithms, computational geometry, geographic information systems, computer vision, 3D point clouds, as well as remote sensing and satellites.

    大家好！今天我们邀请到的嘉宾本科毕业于Cornell的Operational Research和CS专业，曾在Meta 与顶级高频交易机构 Jump Trading实习。毕业后，她正式加入 Meta 并深耕四年，专注于前沿的生成式 AI（Generative AI）领域。如今，她加入知名科技中厂 Roblox，担任推荐算法核心工程师一职。 Our guest today graduated from Cornell University with degrees in Operational Research and Computer Science. She interned at Meta and the top high-frequency trading firm, Jump Trading. After graduating, she joined Meta full-time, where she spent four years focusing on cutting-edge Generative AI. Today, she is a core recommendation algorithm engineer at the well-known tech company, Roblox.

    大家好！今天我们邀请到的嘉宾是BHSFIC 2020届的谢安琪学姐。她的本科毕业于杜克大学的neuroscience专业，2024年毕业之后一直在投行的生物医药组，马上要去私募基金做医疗方向的投资。 Our guest today is Anqi Xie from the BHSFIC Class of 2020. She majored in Neuroscience at Duke University for her undergraduate studies. After graduating in 2024, she has been working in the biopharma group at an investment bank, and is about to move into private equity to focus on healthcare investing.

    本期我们邀请到的嘉宾是李天然学长，2011年从BHSFIC毕业。他本科在北京航空航天大学读工业工程，硕士去了英国UCL，读Project and Enterprise Management。硕士毕业后，他去了芬兰工作。最开始两年在一家全球性公司的芬兰分公司WSP，做过咨询，也当过无人机飞手，还代表芬兰公司回国内参加城市规划类的设计竞赛。之后他加入了一家芬兰本土的金融科技公司Epassi，一直工作到现在，已经八年多。在这家公司里，他经历过Marketing、Operations、Customer Success等多个岗位，目前担任Product Manager，主要负责产品规划、用户体验、业务增长和跨团队协作。疫情前那几年，他主要对接支付宝和微信支付的海外团队；疫情之后，工作重心回到北欧本地市场。 In this episode, we're joined by Tianran Li, who graduated from BHSFIC in 2011. He studied Industrial Engineering at Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) for his undergraduate degree, and then went to UCL in the UK for his master's in Project and Enterprise Management. After completing his master's, he moved to Finland to work. For his first two years there, he worked at the Finnish branch of WSP, a global company, where he did consulting work, worked as a drone pilot, and even represented the Finnish company in urban planning design competitions back in China. He then joined Epassi, a Finnish fintech company, where he has been working for over eight years now. During his time there, he has held various roles across Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success, and currently serves as a Product Manager, responsible for product planning, user experience, business growth, and cross-team collaboration. Before the pandemic, he mainly worked with the overseas teams of Alipay and WeChat Pay; after the pandemic, his focus shifted back to the local Nordic market.

    本期我们邀请到的嘉宾是北京四中北美校友会的会长黄岳老师，她1992年毕业于北京四中，1997年获得清华大学本科，1999年获得科罗拉多州立大学工程学硕士，2004年获得杜克大学工商管理硕士。她后续在华尔街深耕22年，现在日本三井住友银行纽约分行工作。业余时间她创办华夏大纽约中文学校，历任教师，教学副校长和董事。 We are honored to have Yue Huang, President of the BHSF North American Alumni Association, as our guest for this episode. A 1992 alumna of Beijing No. 4 High School, she received her bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in 1997, an M.S. in Engineering from Colorado State University in 1999, and an MBA from Duke University in 2004. With 22 years of experience on Wall Street, she is currently with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York. She is also the founder of the Huaxia Chinese Academy Greater New York, having served in various capacities, including teacher, Vice Principal, and board member.
