Post Mortem with Mick Garris

I look forward to a new episode of Post Mortem every Wednesday. On this show, as a film fan, you can only learn and get great insights into the filmmaking world. The interviews with the star guests go far beyond what you get as extra content on many Blu rays and the special Ask Mick Anything shows are incredibly valuable for filmmakers because Mick does answer the questions of the community and fans and gives a lot of help when it comes to script writing or film production for example. Thank you for the great insight behind the scenes and especially the many exciting topics. If you weren't a fan of horror films before, I recommend this show to you, because you will definitely become one afterwards. Horror is not only frightening, but has many facets and meanings. Exactly this is worked out in the interviews at Post Mortem. I really don't want to miss any more episodes. Greetings from Germany.

Mick Garris has a long history within the (genre)movie industry and it is obvious he knows and loves the genre. He knows his guests, he knows his audience, but sometimes you can not help but feel like this is a writer padding himself on the back, especially during some highly pretentious intros

Mick Garris probably knows pretty much everybody involved with horror films by now. And that leads to some fascinating conversations with great guests from horrors past and present. I especially enjoy his introduction speeches, when he goes into his take on a specific situation or sub-genre or an artist’s vita. Insightful and sympathetic. A must listen for horror fans.
