Can a 20-Year Electrician Pass This Mock Exam? ⚡

Can a qualified electrician with over 20 years on the tools pass a Level 2 Communicating with Building Services mock exam? ⚡Tool Box Talk Products - https://toolboxtalkforelectricians.kit.com/products In this video, I take exam number five on the Elect mate app and work through another 60-question mock paper. This one is less about wiring and more about communication, paperwork, site procedures, health and safety, handovers, customer records, GDPR, EICRs, variations, site inductions and working with other trades. In this video I cover:✅ Level 2 electrician mock exam✅ Communicating with building services✅ Elect mate app exam questions✅ Health and safety notices✅ EICR record keeping✅ Company policies✅ Site inductions✅ Handover documentation✅ Near misses and incident reporting✅ DBS checks on school sites✅ Customer body language✅ Drawings vs specifications✅ IT acceptable use policies✅ Snagging lists✅ Variations and site diaries✅ Working safely on site✅ Customer communication✅ C3 observations on EICRs✅ Safe isolation communication✅ Paper trails for electriciansSome of this exam feels like common sense, some of it feels useful for site work, and some of it feels like pure jargon that most sparks probably don’t use every day.But this is part of the process if you’re training to become an electrician. It’s not just about wiring sockets and consumer units. You also need to understand communication, records, site rules, safety procedures, documentation and how to protect yourself when something goes wrong.I needed 60% to pass.I got 70% — 42 out of 60.So that’s another pass in the exam series.📌 Subscribe for more electrician exam videos, apprentice training, electrical theory, safe isolation, EICRs, site work and real-world sparky content.🎧 Listen to Toolbox Talks for Electricians for more ways to reduce stress, gain back time and earn more money.

I Got 87% on an Electrician Mock Exam

Can a qualified electrician with over 20 years on the tools pass a Level 2 Installing Wiring Systems and Enclosures mock exam? ⚡ The software used in this videos is - Elec Mate https://www.elec-mate.com/r/REF-2B762D In this video, I jump back onto the Elect mate app and take paper four in the Level 2 electrical exam series. This one covers conduit, cable tray, cable management, safe isolation, conduit bending, socket heights, risk assessments, wiring systems, enclosures, IP ratings, R1 + R2 testing, bonding, SWA glands, fire stopping, minor works certificates and more. In this video I cover: ✅ Level 2 electrical exam ✅ Installing wiring systems and enclosures ✅ Electrician mock exam ✅ Electmate app mock papers ✅ Conduit installation questions ✅ Cable tray and trunking ✅ Saddle bends and conduit routes ✅ Risk assessments and safety procedures ✅ Socket height in dwellings ✅ Calibration certificates ✅ R1 + R2 testing ✅ SWA cable termination ✅ IP ratings explained ✅ Fire stopping cable penetrations ✅ Cable management systems ✅ Safe isolation procedure ✅ Minor works certificates ✅ Real electrician vs exam theory Some of these questions are proper common sense and very relevant to working as an electrician. Others still feel like exam wording trying to catch you out. But this one actually felt a lot closer to real site work: conduit, fixings, testing, drawings, cable support, enclosures, tray, trunking and installation methods. After passing some and failing some in this series, this was my best result so far. I needed 60% to pass. I got 87%. Not bad for a spark who hasn’t sat college exams for years. 😂 📌 Subscribe for more electrician exam videos, apprentice training, electrical theory, installation methods, safe isolation, testing and real-world sparky content. 🎧 Listen to Toolbox Talks for Electricians for more ways to reduce stress, gain back time and earn more money.

I Took a Level 2 Installation Exam: Did I Fail?

Can a qualified electrician with over 20 years on the tools pass a Level 2 Installation Methods and Technology mock exam? ⚡Tool Box Talk - Downloads - https://toolboxtalkforelectricians.kit.com/productsIn this video, I jump back onto the Elect mate app and take another mock exam to see how much of the college theory still makes sense after years of actually working in the electrical industry. This paper covers installation methods, cable types, current carrying capacity, earthing systems, SWA, containment, solar PV, bonding, voltage drop, first fix, second fix, safe isolation, BS7671, testing, fire stopping and more.In this video I cover:✅ Level 2 electrical installation exam✅ Installation methods and technology✅ Electrician mock exam✅ Electmate app mock papers✅ Cable selection questions✅ SWA cable and armouring✅ Twin and earth cable✅ PV and inverter questions✅ Earthing systems: TT, TN-C-S and PME✅ Main bonding questions✅ First fix and second fix✅ RCD protection for sockets✅ Buried cable warning tape✅ Cable tray and trunking✅ PAT testing questions✅ Test equipment calibration✅ Fire stopping in cable installations✅ BS7671 questions✅ Real electrician vs exam theorySome questions are spot on and useful for the real world.Others feel like the sort of thing you learn just to pass the exam, then barely use day-to-day as a normal domestic or commercial spark. But that’s the point of this series — seeing what’s actually involved in becoming a qualified electrician, and whether someone with 20+ years’ experience can still pass the theory papers.I needed 60% to pass.Did I pass this one?Watch and find out.📌 Subscribe for more electrician exam videos, apprentice training, electrical theory, installation methods, testing, safe isolation and real-world electrician content.🎧 Listen to Toolbox Talks for Electricians for more ways to reduce stress, gain back time and earn more money.

Can a Qualified Electrician Pass Electrical Science?

Can a fully qualified electrician with over 20 years on the tools pass a Principles of Electrical Science mock exam? ⚡The software used in this videos is - Elec Mate https://www.elec-mate.com/r/REF-2B762DAfter passing the first health and safety mock exam, I decided to try the next one on the Electmate app — and this one was a different story. This exam covered RMS, flux density, capacitors, Ohm’s law, voltage drop, resistance, AC/DC, semiconductors, superconductors, efficiency, load factors, impedance and plenty of calculations I haven’t used much in real day-to-day domestic electrical work.✅ Level 2 electrical science mock exam✅ Principles of electrical science✅ Electrician exam questions✅ Ohm’s law calculations✅ RMS voltage✅ Capacitors and time constants✅ Voltage drop questions✅ Resistance and conductance✅ AC and DC theory✅ Semiconductors and superconductors✅ Load factor and efficiency✅ Electrical science terminology✅ Why revision matters✅ Qualified electrician taking exams again✅ Real-world electrician vs exam theorySome of the questions felt useful, some were worded in a confusing way, and some made me wonder how often a normal domestic spark actually uses this stuff on site. But that’s the point — exams are a different skill.Being good on the tools doesn’t automatically mean you’ll smash the theory paper without revision. This one gave me a proper reminder of how hard it can be for apprentices, trainees and adult learners going through electrical training today.Drop a comment and let me know — would you have passed this one?📌 Subscribe for more electrician exam videos, apprentice training, electrical theory, real-world sparky content and Toolbox Talks for Electricians.🎧 Listen to Toolbox Talks for Electricians for more ways to reduce stress, gain back time and earn more money.

Tool Box Talk Downloads - https://toolboxtalkforelectricians.kit.com/productsI’ve worked in the electrical industry for over 20 years across domestic, commercial and industrial work — but sitting exams is a completely different game.In this video I cover:✅ Level 2 electrician mock exam✅ Health and safety exam questions✅ Electrical apprenticeship training✅ PPE questions✅ Safe isolation questions✅ RIDDOR questions✅ Waste and WEEE regulations✅ Construction site safety✅ Risk assessments and method statements✅ Electrical shock and burns✅ Working safely on site✅ Exam wording and confusing terminology✅ Qualified electrician taking exams again✅ Adult learners training as electriciansSome of the questions feel obvious, some are worded strangely, and some make you realise how much exam terminology you forget when you’ve been out on site for years. This gave me even more respect for apprentices, adult learners and anyone training to become an electrician today.I needed 60% to pass.So the question is… did I pass or fail?Watch the video and see how I got on.📌 Subscribe for more electrician training videos, electrical exams, apprenticeship advice, safe isolation, testing, fault finding and real-life electrician content.🎧 Listen to Toolbox Talks for Electricians for more ways to reduce stress, gain back time and earn more money.
