If You Sit All Day, THIS Is Falling Apart Inside You

Find out why I stretch every single day! In this video, we’ll discuss the amazing benefits of stretching, and I’ll show you some simple stretching exercises to add to your daily stretching routine. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The benefits of stretching every day 0:17 Fascia explained 2:17 The biggest problem with muscle fascia 3:34 Stretching exercises for fascial release and flexibility 7:03 Stretching for flexibility Today, we’re going to talk about the benefits of stretching every day. A simple stretching workout can provide the following benefits: •Improved sleep •Decreased inflammation •Decreased pain •Counters past injuries •Calms the nervous system Many people think their muscles are tight when it’s really the fascia! Your fascia is like a wetsuit that surrounds the entire body. Helene Langevin of the National Institutes of Health discovered through acupuncture that when a needle is inserted into the skin, collagen fibers of the fascia begin winding around the needle! When you injure your fascia, you develop scar tissue, which can interfere with movement. Healthy fascia should be dynamic, movable, flexible, and even has electrical properties! Unhealthy or injured fascia develops a disorganized pattern of connective tissue. Stretching at home daily keeps your fascia healthy. Tight muscles and tissues that cause bad posture are one of the biggest problems you can have with your fascia. The more you can elongate your connective tissue, the better it will be for your fascia. A good daily stretching routine is one of the best ways to prevent stiffness associated with aging. Follow along and try this easy stretching routine for healthy fascia, flexibility, and improved posture! The Big Magnesium MISTAKE 50%+ People Are Making

You could be deficient in magnesium and not even know it! You can’t rely on blood tests to detect a magnesium deficiency. Learn to spot the signs of magnesium deficiency and avoid the most common magnesium mistakes so you don't end up deficient. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: The most common magnesium deficiency mistake 0:25 Magnesium deficiency symptoms 0:42 The best magnesium sources 1:45 The best magnesium supplement 1:55 Magnesium benefits 3:15 How much magnesium should I take? 4:00 3 magnesium secrets You can have normal magnesium blood levels and still have a magnesium deficiency! This is because only 1% of magnesium is in your blood! The other 99% is inside your cells. Common magnesium deficiency symptoms include: •Muscle spasms •Muscle twitches •Anxiety •Poor sleep •Sugar cravings •Charley horses Almonds, spinach, and chocolate contain magnesium, but you would need to consume a lot to meet your requirements! Gut inflammation can decrease magnesium absorption by 60 to 70%. High-carb diets, alcohol, caffeine, and certain medications can deplete magnesium. Top-selling magnesium products often have poor absorption and can cause diarrhea. Take magnesium glycinate for the best absorption rate and to avoid the laxative effect. Magnesium is the master controller of calcium in the body, which is the primary communication signal between cells. Calcium often over-accumulates in the cells, which can lead to cellular damage. Magnesium is vital in regulating excess calcium in the body. It also helps prevent kidney stones. Calcium causes your muscles to contract, while magnesium causes them to relax. Tight muscles signify too much calcium and not enough magnesium. Magnesium also prevents heart attacks and problems with the heart’s rhythm. Correcting a magnesium deficiency takes time, and you need to make sure you’re taking enough. You may need 1000 to 1500 mg of magnesium daily to correct a deficiency. People with migraines, chronic pain, mood disorders, and diabetes may need more magnesium. Vitamin D won't work without magnesium. When you increase your magnesium intake, also increase your vitamin D. Vitamin B1 is also dependent on magnesium. Magnesium is vital in ATP production, so your magnesium intake directly affects your energy levels. The #1 Best Meal for Liver Detoxification

Let's talk about the best meal to detox the liver. It's important to keep in mind that a liver detox is very different from a liver cleanse. Liver "cleanses" won't help you clean your liver in any significant way. But supporting your natural detoxification process may be beneficial. Your liver has two phases of detoxification that help get rid of toxins. The goal of this detoxification process is to turn poisons into harmless water-soluble particles. Some people have a genetic problem with particular detoxification enzymes. This can make you more susceptible to damage from certain toxins. A DNA test can give you the information you need to avoid a certain toxin and better support detoxification. Fixing your diet is the best way to support liver detoxification. You don't need a short-term detox or cleanse. You need to make certain foods that support the liver a part of your regular diet. The best meal for liver detox: • Eggs cooked with onions, garlic, and sea salt • Cruciferous vegetables • Kefir with walnuts and low-carb, no-sugar chocolate chips • Add herbs to your meal like thyme, sage, oregano, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and rosemary Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Is Seed Oil Worse than Sugar? - Seed Oil vs. Sugar

Common seed oils are: • Soy oil • Corn oil • Canola oil • Cottonseed oil • Safflower oil • Sunflower oil On average, we’re consuming way too many foods high in omega-6 fats. Ideally, a person should consume a 1:1 ratio of omega-3 fatty acids to omega-6 fatty acids. However, the average ratio is 15:1. This imbalance can lead to all kinds of health problems, especially in the cell membranes. Refined sugar also leads to health issues and is converted to fat, but the extra sugar doesn’t accumulate in the body like omega-6 fatty acids do. Omega-6 fatty acids (seed oils) lodge into your cells and accumulate in your tissues for 600 days. They are not water-soluble like sugar is and can't be burned off like sugar can. Both refined oils and refined sugar can deplete important nutrients. While certain whole foods, like fruit, have sugar, they also have nutrients and phytonutrients to help replenish what was lost and provide protection. But seed oils are a highly refined, over-processed part of a seed that doesn’t have any protective factors. To make seed oils they also use a solvent called hexane to extract the oil from the seed—is it possible some of this solvent could end up in the oil? Overall, while sugar isn't good for you, omega-6 fatty acids are worse for your health than sugar is. This Vitamin MISTAKE is Super Unhealthy!

Claims that vitamin E can cause cancer and cardiovascular damage have left many people confused, to say the least. In this video, I’ll explain the difference between tocopherols and tocotrienols and why you may want to check the label on your vitamin E supplements. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Vitamin E explained 0:29 Tocopherols vs. tocotrienols 1:06 The benefits of tocotrienols 3:52 The benefits of tocopherols In nature, vitamin E exists in a complex. If you’re taking a vitamin E supplement that contains a-tocopherol, this can act as a pro-oxidant rather than an antioxidant, as it is only a fragment of the vitamin E complex. There are 2 types of vitamin E: tocopherols and tocotrienols. Tocotrienols are far more powerful and have the following potential benefits: •Anti-cancer effects •Potent anti-inflammatory •Increases lifespan in animal studies •Neuroprotective •Similar effects to statins on oxidative LDL •Supports cardiovascular health •Beneficial for workout recovery •Beneficial for age-related cognitive decline •Reverses damage from radiation •Scar tissue protection •Slows progression of liver cirrhosis Tocopherols do support and protect the cell membranes, and there is more research being done on tocopherols. They are also easier to find in many foods, such as green vegetables, seeds, nuts, olives, and olive oil. Tocotrienols are more difficult to find in food and may be easier to take as a supplement. They’re found naturally in annatto and red palm oil. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The #1 BEST Food to Remove FAT from the LIVER

Don’t wait for fatty liver symptoms to address your liver health! Find out what to eat for a fatty liver and discover the #1 superfood for liver health that can remove fat from the liver naturally. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: How to reverse a fatty liver 0:10 What causes a fatty liver? 1:59 Fatty liver symptoms 3:30 The best fatty liver diet 3:40 How to remove liver fat with the best liver detox food 5:39 The best food for a fatty liver NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) is being changed to MASH (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis), which essentially means a fatty liver with inflammation. Doctors treat this condition with medications and never truly address the root cause. NAFLD is often blamed on “too much nutrition”, but what does this mean? It’s not simply over-nutrition that causes a fatty liver. It’s the overconsumption of sugar, starches, and seed oils. Industrial sugars like high-fructose corn syrup are especially problematic for the liver. Fatty liver symptoms include fatigue, pain or discomfort in the right upper quadrant, cognitive problems, yellow skin, hot and itchy feet, and extra weight around the midsection. The medical field has used observational studies to claim that red meat, organ meats, liver, and eggs cause a fatty liver. However, observational studies can not determine causation! Research has shown that if you go on a low-carb, ketogenic diet, you can decrease 50% of the fat from your liver in a matter of weeks! To improve liver health and remove fat from the liver naturally, add the following liver detox foods to your diet: 1. Grass-fed red meat offers high-quality protein with vital nutrients such as zinc, copper, and CoQ10. It also supports healthy blood sugar levels. 2. Eggs have zero carbs and are a rich source of choline, which helps protect you from developing a fatty liver. 3. Cruciferous vegetables, especially when fermented, help the liver with detoxification and also help to remove fat. 4. Wild-caught salmon and other wild-caught fatty fish are a very nutritious source of protein and are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce liver inflammation. 5. Broccoli sprouts contain sulforaphane, which has potent anti-cancer properties and helps detoxify the liver. They can also decrease A1C to stabilize blood sugar. 6. The #1 food for liver health is grass-fed liver! Beef and lamb liver are low-carb, high in choline, nutrient-dense, and contain many trace minerals, vital in reducing liver fat and inflammation. If you are following a strict keto diet, you may want to stick to recipes without pomegranate or papaya. If you have been doing keto for some time and feel your body can handle a small amount of these fruits—please give all of the recipes a try! Always get organic fruit when possible, and try to keep your net carbs under 50g per day. 1. Spinach and kiwi Blend 1 cup of spinach with 2 to 3 kiwis. Spinach supports healthy blood sugar and can also help remove fat from the abdomen, while kiwi has properties to protect the liver against damage. 2. Spinach and grapefruit Combine 1 cup of spinach with 1 grapefruit. Grapefruit increases your sensitivity to insulin and increases bile flow. 3. Kale and pomegranate Cruciferous vegetables like kale aid in liver detoxification and have anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate also decreases inflammation and prevents fat from accumulating in the liver. 4. Papaya Combine one whole chopped papaya with water and ice. Papaya is loaded with enzymes that can help digestion and decrease inflammation in the liver. 5. Celery and blueberries Combine 1 cup of chopped celery with 1 cup of blueberries. Celery Increases bile production and reduces liver inflammation. Blueberries reduce liver fat, and their polyphenols help remove excess iron from the body. 6. Cucumber and lemon Combine 1 cup of each of these ingredients. Cucumber is hydrating and has electrolytes. It increases liver detoxification and can help prevent NAFLD. Lemon can also improve liver detoxification. 7. Avocado and strawberries Combine 1 cup of each! Avocado contains glutathione, one of the most potent antioxidants, and also has reparative properties for the liver. Strawberries help increase overall liver function and metabolism and remove fat from the liver. 8. Coconut and papaya Coconut contains lauric acid, which is beneficial for the immune system. It contains MCT fat, which turns into ketones. This combination decreases inflammation and scarring on the liver. Dr. William Davis developed a recipe combining fruit juice with a friendly microbe found in Florastor. Try this beverage to support the gut and suppress diarrhea and SIBO.
