PUBLIC VERSION. Actor Vincent Craig Dupree (FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 8, SOUTH CENTRAL) joins Adam, Joe, and Arwen in the ArieScope Studio to share his career journey. From being discovered at his first ever audition by legendary filmmaker Stanley Kramer (GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER, THE DEFIANT ONES)… to literally walking around Los Angeles and dropping off his headshot at every agency he could find along the way… to acting in commercials and booking various television roles on shows like KNIGHT RIDER, A DIFFERENT WORLD, PARADISE, and FREDDY’S NIGHTMARES… to his starring role as “Julius” the boxer in FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 8: JASON TAKES MANHATTAN (a film he didn’t even realize he was starring in until another cast member told him at the airport before his flight to set!)… to his role as “Loco” in SOUTH CENTRAL… to making the decision to step away from the industry for a bit and make raising his son his one and only priority…  to the huge commercial campaign he’s been starring in for the last 3 years… to appearing at genre conventions and beyond… VC has always stuck to his principles and kept his head squarely on his shoulders. From the disastrous screening that lead to him stepping away from directing for several years and the moment that a submerged shopping cart helped him realize that he’d never make a boring movie again… to why so much of writing is actually not writing… to making up for the gap in sex in modern cinema and why he doesn’t hold back on sex or violence artistically… to why he prefers long takes in his story telling… to shooting during the period where the WGA and the agencies were in a stand-off over “agency project packaging”… to meeting his entertainment heroes… to what it was like facing off with “Michael Myers” and whether or not he was really scared… to his OPPENHEIMER audition… to his positive experiences with crowd funding projects… to working on BARRY… making his hilarious new short film IS NOW A GOD TIME? Dr Arwen provides a short but sweet “Hollywood Therapy” session for a fan who has fallen in love with horror conventions, Adam and Joe steal and eat a famous director’s candy, and the group discusses whether or not a disconnect exists between the industry the media and the audience.

From making the move from New Jersey to Hollywood… to becoming an original dancer for The Pussycat Dolls… to producing a festival darling that premiered at Tribeca… to working with her film family, gigantic jackalopes, demonic bunnies, and gallons of gore on EASTER BLOODY EASTER… to her experience on Glenn Danzig’s VEROTIKA… this conversation is a fun-filled basket of Movie Crypt goodness with a positive message of sisterhood and some gore to boot!
