    Cyril Chappellet: Chappellet Winery

    Chappellet Winery is truly a historic staple in Napa Valley. In this episode of Wines That Matter, listeners are joined by Cyril Chappellet, who is the Chairman of the Board for Chappellet Winery.  Cyril, Kelli, and Sarah go deep into the history of the Chappellet vineyard as well as the early years of Napa Valley and St. Helena. For Cyril, family and wine have always been intimately connected, and listeners get to hear some wonderful stories and thought processes to how Chappellet puts out some of their world class wines.     Cathy Corison: Cabernet Sauvignon

Cathy is an American Winemaker who specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, and was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Wine.  In this episode, Cathy goes in-depth on the flavors she likes to play with in her famous Cabernets, such as her Sunbasket and Kronos Vineyard varietals, and why her love for the flavors around the world draws her to older vine characteristics.
