...Our ADHD Brains Took Over This One

On this episode we are hot boxing in Santa Clara!!...sorry I mean Santa Rosa . We are visiting our college friend Imani and continued the conversation around work, needing to performing to feel whole or sane, and doing what you love! . But you see what had happened was....... a shiny red fire truck came and we got side tracked.... . This is also a really good view on how the ADHD brain works as we have a discussion with 2 high neurodivergents....as we talk about things that just kind of pop into our heads! . Mountain Side w/ Yus: Quarter Century Life Crisis- Check On Me!!

(Did you check on me?) Now, did you notice me?" -Libianca Fonji . On this marvelous adventurous episode of Dis |so.so| Ciated Thoughts.... . We are coming to you from a car once again but this time in a rental car parked alongside the top of Santa Monica MOUNTAIN, overlooking San Bernadino Valley in SoCal!! . We had an amazing guest, Yusuph!! We meet freshmen year of UC Davis and have been close ever since! We both started pre-med and both our stories have drastically changed! Medicine is still in our future but we are choosing something different for now, choosing love, on our journey towards it! . It seems like its not just though, we are all going through this internal conflict. Do we stick with our childhood dreams and goals or do we give ourselves the grace, patience, and flexibility, the same as a child, to fail at something new and keep trying? . With the world in the state that its in, I know everybody can feel it because we are having a global awakening!! The world we live in or that we used to live in is dying and changing VERY QUICKLY!! Do we keep pushing the same dreams we had pre-covid or do change with the world around us? . Then again the question comes: ARE YOU DOING IT FOR THE MONEY OR THE LOVE!?!? If the world were to end tomorrow would you still be working a 9 to 5 or would you be working your dreams and making fantasies realities?!? . ITS THAT TIME! . Of course...with our quarter century life crisis...comes the hardest question for us to ask: To Build A Family or To Wait to Our 30s or Beyond? Do We Want a Family?? . Thanks to @thehoodhealer, I've come to overstand that I am in the World not of it!! But there are a lot of people lost in the sauce of EGO and MONEY. There are also a lot of hurt people who refuse to do the work necessary to live a happy and fulfilling life! Do you sacrifice yourself to society or to your dreams?!? . Its time to bring back the love for all people not just your partner! Love your friends, tell them that, show them that, the same energy you give to your lover! The same to a stranger! Its internally liberating in a society that breeds hate and fear . *Just a little disclaimer* We had meet up earlier at Venice Beach and he was to give me a tour of LA. Being that both of us are water signs being by the water brings up all the feels, so we had already been conversating on a deep level...plus I'm just that person lol. My BFF, Ace boon, Right hand, Jaz agreed to my random demand to do a podcast late one night lol....really the next day after eye recorded my 1st episode....eye was feeling inspired and she agreed to accompany me on my late night antics!! No More Chasing the Money

Living with this growing, nagging feeling of brunt out forced me to do some deep diving into self and trying to bring back the drive and love for life. Through guided healing, eye have been looking and questioning my innerchild to try and heal this burn out. Asking her what does she love to do/what brings me joy? Eye also questioned why society and how my childhood, friends, and family has shaped and limited my vision of self! Eye encourage and warn everyone to stop just moving/pushing forward without having some checkpoint along the way to help refocus and ensure that the path you're on still resonates and serves you! It's extremely hard to revision yourself when you've held onto this vision of who you are/ to become...your whole life. What if what you think is serving you is really just a trauma response or a survival mechanism? Constantly question the world around you, as well as yourself!
