Fearne Cotton Finds Joy in Life’s Big Questions
Since launching Happy Place, Fearne Cotton has invited listeners into thoughtful conversations about happiness, self-confidence, kindness and what it means to live well. What keeps her coming back, she says, is the chance to meet someone new and learn something different every week. “No two episodes are the same,” she explains. “I’ve learned so much about life and myself through these conversations.”
As both podcasting and Happy Place have evolved, Fearne has continued to adapt and grow alongside them. From expanding into video and building a dedicated studio to introducing new formats, she’s remained committed to creating space for meaningful conversations. Along the way, she’s shared memorable moments with everyone from Alicia Keys to Dawn French, while continually refining her craft as an interviewer.
What Fearne values most is the connection that extends beyond the podcast itself. Through events like the Happy Place Festival, she gets to meet listeners face-to-face and continue the conversation. “They’re all good eggs,” she says.
When she’s listening, Fearne enjoys shows including The Rest Is History, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, The Telepathy Tapes and Scamanda.
