I have to apologise for my sound in this episode. There is a crackle and I couldn't edit it out.

Victoria Spence is confidence and mindset coach. She is a former fitness model turned self-love advocate. And she is an absolute legend and I was lucky to speak to her about; Body Image, the dark side of the fitness industry, disordered eating, mindset, self-care, insecurities and therapy.

Of course, we discussed some books too.

#87 One year of A Need To Read with Giles Crisp

#87 One year of A Need To Read with Giles Crisp

I sit down with my good friend Giles Crisp to discuss the last year and how podcasting and books have moulded me in to who I am today. We discuss so much from our 10 years of friendship, from falling out to becoming closer than ever through vulnerability and a joint goal of become better people. We also discuss; politics, moving away from your hometown, returning to your true self in your 20’s, people’s capacity for change, psychedelics, alcohol, meditation, journalling, a LOT of books and how mad it is that I now apparently have ‘fans’.

Thanks so much for listening over the last year! I love you all (as much as you can love people you’ve never met), you're all legends.

#86 The Almanack Of Naval Ravikant: A guide to wealth and happiness

#86 The Almanack Of Naval Ravikant: A guide to wealth and happiness

A review of the only book Tim Ferris has done a foreword for in recent years. The Almanack Of Naval Ravikant is a brilliant guide on how to live well. Wealth, happiness, habits, judgement, meditation and so much more is covered in the book. I would recommend everyone listen to Naval on Joe Rogans podcast as well as reading the book.

Books, Bants, and so much more

Listening to interviews or book reviews with A need 2 read puts the fun back in to reading and makes me want to pick up books again and better myself. Having not read since school maybe, He got me to pick up a novel, visit a book shop to buy it rather than Amazon. Easy to listen to, feels like an open conversation

Informative and fun!

Love the books explored on here, great to have an honest review 👍

Chris_Ricardo ,

Got me reading and meditating

I’ve picked up some good new habits that have enriched me and I’m constantly learning great concepts and gaining amazing insights. I’m probably a nicer and slightly better person for listening. Thanks Ed!
