I’ve been listening since the beginning of the year and conversation between two mates about pop culture was fun, so much so the show had become part of my weekly routine. However, the occasional confrontational parts were never my favourite bit and something I struggled through or skipped. I’ve now come to the conclusion that the confrontations are a ‘feature not a bug’. When a reasonable view is expressed that is then aggressively disputed and then the original contributor tries the explain their position whilst being accused of hypocrisy is, for me, a type of toxic discourse. I can’t keep listening.
