15 minuets of commercials before any content!

Been listening for a while and they have some great content. However recently they’ve massively increased the amount of commercials and I’ve started to listen less.

Great guests, but hit and miss these days

Barbell Shrugged was one of the first podcasts I started listening too. Thought it was really good when Bledsoe was leading it. Since Andrea has taken over though I think it’s gone downhill, he interrupts the guests so much, and for me, that spoils it. I want to listen to HINSHAW, not VARNERS. Love Doug Larson, and I like Bledsoe’s series’.

Worst Laugh in Podcast History

Barbell Shrugged was 5 stars, Barbell Collective is just about 3 Stars. Too much poor, unrelated, woo-woo content since the expansion. Seems just a money grab now!

Way way too many adverts, done in a way to lure people in, the worst way, almost like a scam. Constain request for 5 star reviews, that is the only reason I'm writing this. And now general filled with rambling life coaching stories.

You have to believe! Sounds like they've all just put down 'The Secret' or the Bible, Matthew 21:22: "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Horrible

Miss the old one's when they'd actually mentioned a barbell! There are some good bits of info, but now you have to listen to hours of content to get a few minutes. Getting close to giving up. Way to ruin a good thing in the pursuit of money!
