Apprehensive about the future? Like many, you likely have a gut feeling that things aren't quite right, but haven’t been able to place your finger on why. That feeling only grows with the increasing political tensions, economic uncertainty, natural disasters, and supply chain disruptions. What do all these challenges mean? And what will be the result of society’s current trajectory? “Breaking Down: Collapse” takes the complex concepts surrounding the ultimate collapse of modern industrial society and simplifies them so they’re easier to learn. The compelling evidence for our inevitable decline is introduced by collapse-aware Kory to his good friend, Kellan, who probably doesn’t realize what he signed up for! Skeptical? Gear up for a paradigm shift!

Fantastic podcast
I’m binging this podcast at the moment currently on EP.27. It’s really…enlightening and pretty much everything you guys talk about just seems so obvious and I wonder how i was so oblivious to the trajectory we are on. But I think everyone knows or has a feeling to some extent that our society is so fragile and already cracked. I recommend this podcast to everyone I know and the typical response is that although they get it and don’t think I’m directing them to conspiracy theories, they still shun any conversation about it as it’s ‘depressing’. Keep spreading the word guys. I’m amazed your show isn’t more popular but I guess not everyone wants to listen. Ignorance is bliss-my key takeaway from the podcast so far, and the response I get when recommending your show. 10/10-also the amount of effort that goes into each episode is spectacular. I take my hat off to you both.
Should be compulsory listening for politicians
Great podcast, great guests, great insights. Should be compulsory listening for all the politicians and economists who can only see calm seas, clear skies and endless economic growth ahead. Our leaders don't have our backs and each of us should be making our own preparations for collapse. My small contribution is to reinvent the plant based anaesthetics used in ancient and medieval times in preparation for when the supply chains for petrochemicals break down.
A bit of clarity on a controversial subject
Even if you disagree with the idea of collapse, this is a well researched podcast with much to say about how the way modern society operates is bad for the world and just as bad for us. The calm and reasonable presentation only makes their conclusions feel all the more horrifying.
