    EP244: Welcoming versus wallowing

    EP244: Welcoming versus wallowing

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the difference between welcoming what arises and wallowing in what arises. In this episode, we’ll explore how welcoming is rooted in curiosity and not knowing what we’re exploring.Welcoming is “dumb”, while wallowing tends to be “smart”. We wallow in something (anxiety, depression, sadness), meaning we’re feeling what we

EP243: I don’t know where I’m going, but I know how to get there

Animal trackers don’t know where the animal is, but they know how to get there. They get there by following the fresh track that presents itself.  It’s immediate. There is no extensive planning or imagining future scenarios, just following what’s right here, right now. Then doing that again, and again, and again until you don’t

Stumbled upon this podcast recently...

...and I’ve been working my way through the back catalogue of episodes. It’s such a refreshing way of looking at behaviour and habit change! Amy is very easy to listen to, and has the knowledge and experience to back up what she says. Well worth a listen! Thanks Amy!

Do you need to see through a story to let it go?

Fantastic podcast, Amy. Thank you so much. Very grateful for your clarity in pointing to that which is beyond knowing and words, a difficult thing to pull off! Have recently seen more deeply that feeling feelings, especially the icky ones, without the story of ‘what it means’ uncovers our default setting, real peace. Easy to see in theory; now for the experience. Then in comes your podcast, as if by magic - I know, another story 😉.
