Ice Cold Case

This is an excellent true crime podcast of a daughter searching for the truth about her father’s murder. Madison has a real talent for making you understand the people in this story and their good points but also weaknesses and flaws. Looking forward to the next episodes!

Every episode of this I hope in vain that we will find out the identity of the killer of JC Mghee. I’m 19 episodes in and it’s just repetitive theory’s over and over again and I’m still no closer to finding out the culprit. This could have been 8 episodes at most. Cliche after cliche, going over the same incident again and again. This needs structure, a beginning, middle and an end.

This woman is so over confident and annoying I can’t listen to her. I’m not sure who she thinks she is.

If you make it through this genuinely intriguing story, you’ll have been worn down by nine episodes of repetitive snippets, repetitive conjecture and eye rolling simplicity. The emotionless delivery only adds to the feeling that this is a quick cash grab, as opposed to genuine reporting or detective work. It’s hard to know what the intention of this series is, but evidence, conclusion and entertainment don’t seem to be it.
