Too Scary; Didn't Watch

This pod is always a real pleasure. Love the ladies and a great guest for this one. I downloaded the EP because they’re right, the music was a bop! I read that the VOS choice wasn’t paid for placement BUT I believe they used it as the bottle has a large opening and as it’s glass that would make it so much easier than a plastic bottle to chug like she does.

Absolutely love this podcast. Sammy is such a great storyteller and I’ve loved certain episodes more than the actual movies.

I have been listening to this show for a few years now, and it almost feels like hanging with good friends…I love the updates and stories, and think their anecdotes and comments within films are so funny, we love to hear it! Keep doing what you’re doing ladies <3

I really wanted to love this show, the hosts seem likeable, and I love the idea of a podcast based around explaining a horror film to someone who was too scared to watch it. Unfortunately the execution isn’t quite to my tastes. The recap seems to literally just be a blow by blow account of what happened for the most part, with barely any analysis along the way, save for one line reactions from the other hosts. This might be what others are looking for, and again I do like the hosts and their chemistry with each other, but the film discussion is bit shallow for my taste. If you’re looking for some in depth unpacking of movies I’d give this one a steer for now, unless they tweak the format in the future. However if you’re after a lighthearted listen along with a plot summary, this might be your cup of tea!
