If you or anyone you know is in chronic pain, Curable could be life-changing.
The Curable programme is absolutely incredible, ground-breaking and priceless. I've had chronic migraines for around 16 years, sometimes 3-4 per week, and sometimes so severe I could barely function. For years I was only able to work part-time, and even had to stop work altogether for a while. For someone who's very conscientious and loves to work, this has been just one demoralising and difficult aspect of the condition. Migraines have also made leisure time – especially any kind of travel – complicated and stressful. I was resigned to just getting on with it as best I could.
I never really considered migraines as a chronic pain condition per se, as the pain is not there constantly, and pain is only one of many debilitating symptoms of migraine. I therefore wasn't sure at first if Curable would work for me. Like many people I was also put off by the idea of an app for such an intense condition, and didn't take it seriously at first glance. If this is your reaction, all I can say is: think again, keep an open mind, swallow your pride if necessary (it was necessary for me!) and give it a go. You've got very little to lose.
I started the programme about 8 weeks ago. It took me a couple of weeks to get my head around it, and I had a couple of setbacks on the way, but I then went through 4 straight weeks without any episodes, which is unheard of for me. I took my foot off the pedal and had another little setback, but I'm not discouraged, as I can see clearly what happened and how to move forward.
Overall I feel in control of my symptoms, and that's what Curable has given me. I know for sure not only that Curable works, but also that it works for me and for migraines. After 16 years of feeling enslaved to the condition, I now feel empowered, hopeful and extremely grateful. I have to keep reminding myself this is not a dream: it's really happening, and with relatively little investment of time and effort for the rewards I'm already reaping.
To say Curable has changed my life already is no hyperbole. It's teaching me much more about myself than my relationship to pain too. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved in its creation. I hope these simple yet powerful techniques will make it to the mainstream as quickly as possible.
After 11 years of chronic pain this is the best breakthrough..Thankyou Curable.
I’m diving head first in the curable world and this is a great addition to my healing process!
