Well researched investigation into the cynical grift of the FBS ideology. The fact that Emilyee and Yolande have doubled down on their grift despite the personal devastation and loss experienced by vulnerable people under their influence is sickening. I would have liked more investigation into the religious aspect of this cult. ‘God’ is often mentioned in posts on FBS social media but this wasn’t mentioned at all in the podcast.

Brilliant investigative journalism and one of the most interesting and simultaneously shocking podcasts I’ve ever listened to. It made me cry and also filled me with such anger. I hope the women who have experienced such devastating loss find some peace.

This podcast left me heartbroken for the women and babies affected and angry that this isn’t being investigated by the law. It’s so worrying to think that dangerous messages are still being spread around the world to pregnant women seemingly without any intervention.

As a registered midwife in the UK, this podcast shocked me to my core. I cried through much of it. The needless loss of babies’ lives, driven by radical birth keeper ideology, is devastating and deeply troubling. While maternity care in the West is, in some cases, moving toward over-intervention, and this understandably pushes some women toward wild pregnancy and freebirth, this series shows the tragic consequences when fear of the system is replaced with misinformation and extremism. I want women to know that, in the UK at least, the vast majority of midwives are here to support informed choice, not control it.
