Episode 69 – AntiRacist Occupational Therapy, Unsettling The Status Quo
In this episode, I am in conversation with Musharrat Ahmed-Landeryou, Sherrille Tayson & Marie-Lyne Grenier discussing the book “AntiRacist Occupational Therapy, Unsettling The Status Quo”. We also hear from Dr Khalilah Johnson & Isla Whittington about being part of the authoring team for this book. Musharrat gathered a wonderful group of authors from around the globe to bring about this book which I believe was very much needed in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Brilliant Podcasts!
I’m a year 3 OT student and I was looking for some inspiration, due to covid our uni experiences were not quite what we thought and I was feeling deflated. These podcasts are so great, it’s amazing to listen to people’s experiences and makes me so excited to graduate and start working as a qualified OT, I’m only a few episodes in but cannot stop listening thank you so much for your inspiration! Keep up the great work ☺️
I love this podcast.
I found it as a curious potential OT student. I have learnt so much about the diverse and brilliant work OTs do through OT & Chill. The latest episode about hoarding was so fascinating. I am now preparing to start the first year of my OT degree & want to say a big thank you to Kwaku & all his guests for playing a part in informing & inspiring me to take these first steps on my OT path. Keep up the great work.
Excellent! Kwaku you are a natural!
Hey Kwaku, I listened to a podcast interview on LinkedIn which brought me to your OT and Chill podcast. I remember you saying in your interview that you didn’t like the way you sounded in your first few podcasts - well I can say that you were a natural from the get go... very nice, easy and relaxing listen, but still informative conversations. Lovely tone and great topics. I am commencing with my MSc in OT in January so this so great that I can listen to all of the OTs journey’s and experiences. I have worked as an OTA in mental health and physical complexities, so I can relate to the experiences spoken about. Keep up the hard work Kwaku. We are connected on LinkedIn (Sarah M) so I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more!
