A ‘booming’ great podcast
This podcast has been an absolute treat from the day I stumbled upon it. I’m bingeing through all the past episodes as we speak and loving every second of it. A well polished, thrilling, white-knuckle ride back to a time of free fruit pastels, Woolworths and the excitement for the 32X (oh how little we knew). Recommend for anyone with fond memories of STC or those new Boomers (archists included) completely new to the exciting world of Sonic the Comic!
P.S. Had to channel some Megadroid level bad pun work in the title :)
Just a whole lotta fun
I’m only a few episodes into this show but already I love it. I found my way here from Chris’ YouTube channel and I’m so glad that I did. Love hearing you two reminisce on your childhoods in the 90s, while I grew up in the 00s, I inherited my mum’s mega drive at a very young age and as such, the games present in sonic the comic were very much my childhood too. Shall need to dig out my mega drive soon, as this show has got me nostalgic in a big way.
A fortnightly dose of serotonin
Can’t speak highly enough about this show. Chris and Dave are warm, intelligent and funny as all hell. It’s mainlining nostalgia straight into my 90s kid brain - it’s totally unimportant to be familiar with the comic. Always a delight
