In this show, Nurse Mo breaks down a wide range of nursing school concepts so they’re easy to understand. Each episode aims to help nursing students improve their study techniques, pass nursing school exams, and feel more confident in clinical. If you’re nervous about nursing school, not “getting it” in lecture, or feeling overwhelmed with all the information you have to learn, this podcast will help you optimize your study time so you can learn more with less stress.
While nursing school is challenging, it doesn’t have to be impossible. When concepts are explained in a way that “just makes sense”, nursing students have better recall on exams, feel more confident working with patients in clinical, and are better prepared for NCLEX.
Nurse Mo understands the struggles nursing students face and draws on more than 11 years of clinical experience to make nursing school less intimidating. Each episode removes the “fluff” and focuses on the key things a nursing student (and nurse) needs to know about a variety of disease conditions. The show also provides tips for succeeding in nursing school, guidance for students and new nurses, and insider information to help you excel at the bedside.

Highly Recommended
If you are looking for an engaging, fun, educational podcast than look no further. This is just so uplifting and gives me such a sense of belonging especially when studying online mostly since covid restrictions. I have started a Mental Health nursing degree after having a nervous breakdown last year- I was so encouraged by the genuine care from my nurses when I was at rock bottom that I felt I had to the same for others. Listening to Nurse Mo encourages me and helps me to keep pressing forwards as it so worth it. Thank you!!!
Great podcast and concept
I am a single mum with 2 boys and a busy life and I’ve just started a nursing apprenticeship! This pod cast allows me to gain knowledge in a time effective way. I normally listed in my car which works really well. I’m from the Uk and the consent works really well. Thanks nurse mo for taking the time to do the podcast. It’s really useful, well presented & engaging. Thanks
Really helpful podcast
As a nursing student having 2 pre-school children I have found this podcast so helpful in allowing me to maximise my time whilst taking care of household chores and also I have found nurse Mo to be really encouraging and supportive to nursing students which has been really valuable to me. I am now qualified and about to start my first role as an RN and I am sure I will continue to benefit from these fantastic podcasts.
