Really entertaining, gripping supernatural audio drama - with a pretty good ending!

Have binged my way through The Black Tapes over the last few weeks (audio drama has been my go-to during lockdown!) and have throroughly enjoyed it! Twists and turns, interesting themes, spooky goings on, good characters. SPOILER ALERT: Having glanced at the reviews before listening, I was prepared for a disappointing ending, but I actually enjoyed it, and if it had gone on much longer would have got far too complex to be enjoyable. The ending doesn't spell everything out for the listener, it allows us to put some pieces together with a bit of thought, whilst we are also left uncertain about whether the supernatural exists, or is just something that Warren and his followers believe in. Supernatural stories often feel less exciting when everything is revealed, so I think they balanced it quite well. Also, yes the ads are annoying, but I'm able to download a high-quality drama free-of-charge, so I think adverts are perfectly acceptable.
