What a pleasure to stumble upon this masterful podcast, many years after I first watched the brilliant Blackadder. I received each series on VHS overall several birthdays, starting with Series 4 and working back to Series 1. This podcast brings back many happy memories of the quality of each series, even the raw Series 1 which I initially stopped after two episodes in disgust. In time, I came to appreciate it as a different piece of work. I am only half way through this podcast (decided to start with Series 1 episodes then onto Series 2) but I am hooked already. The hosts have a great appreciation of subtle nuances that made Blackadder such a vital part of British comedy history.

Typical jocks. Their only knowledge of WW1 is Blackadder. Ignorance.
