Fair, decent guests but “bro science” chat

Guest selection is good (but most guests do the rounds on various podcasts anyway) but the rest of the content is average. Titles of podcasts can be misleading. I thought there might be more evidence based content to learn from, but turns out it’s is more of general “bro-level” chat. Presenters own knowledge seems below par, I listened to the McGill episode and one of the guys was complaining of symptoms in his hip. McGill suggested he might have snapping or popping hip (which IMO is a common term), presenter had no idea what this was. Seemed strange that he wouldn’t have researched his own symptoms to what is the most basic of levels. I hope the presenter gets an MRI because snapping hip would be favourable over something more serious like developing a hip cam / FAI, which could well be the case (and lead to hip replacement if not addressed). I’m very surprised at the lack of knowledge or insight especially when it was his own symptoms, which kind of calls into question the rest of the content being produced here. Interesting guest selection, but to be filed under “Bro chat”

One of my favorites!

Dutchie listening in Scotland :) Absolutely love how these two guys highlight all aspects of fitness, including mental health and recovery. Also very valuable guests and consistent content, you’ll rarely find yourself out of stuff to listen to! Keep it up guys!
