Waterloo: The Battle as Big Business

Waterloo: The Battle as Big Business

Why does Waterloo matter? How was it manipulated? And how did it become a business in its own right? Regular listeners of the show will know that these questions and much more have been covered by the Napoleonic Wars Podcast’s ‘Scholar in Residence’, Dr Luke ‘Memory’ Reynolds, in his critically acclaimed and award winning book Who Owned Waterloo. That book is now available in paperback, and to mark its release Luke sat down at The Lambs social and theatrical club with Professor of History Benjamin Carter Hett (https://twitter.com/BenjaminHett). Napoleon film

I listened to this podcast for the first time last night after viewing that travesty of a film by Ridley Scott. I was impressed by the panels restraint and reasoned discussion on it. Interesting and not in the least dry or geeky. I will listen to this podcast again.
