51 episodes

This Food Thing is hosted by Jemma Richards.

Jemma suffered with eating disorders for years. Now she’s out the other side she wants to open up the conversation.

In each episode, she invites a special guest to join her to discuss their relationship with food, whether it is easy or less so, and how it affects their behaviour.

Jemma takes a light approach but she believes if this area of our lives is skewed, then so is the rest. It’s never just about food.

This podcast is a series of conversations that may shed light in dark corners, prompt debate and, at best, heal.

Jemma is not a medical professional; all opinions are entirely her own.

Can’t wait for S5💜🥦

I’m looking forward to the new series as I’ve missed listening to you! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and wisdom so naturally and eloquently. I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for over 22 years and hearing from others helps me feel less alone, as well as breaking down the stigma. Every episode is the perfect balance of serious chat sprinkled with lighthearted moments. Thank you wonderful Jemma 💜🥦

I love her curiosity

I enjoy the way that Jemma interacts with her guests, she doesn’t shy away from tough questions and approaches difficult topics with empathy. A really enjoyable podcast that I’d recommend to anyone interested in the world of disordered eating.
