I’m listening to series 2 at the moment. I absolutely love this podcast- the level of detail and way of talking through and explaining everything is great. I love all the legal explanations and cultural and literary references. I have taken off a star due to 2 things which annoy me- the presentation of the information is extremely biased towards exonerating the accused. For example “I can’t see a man of the cloth doing that” (making something up- why not?? Men of the cloth do just as many bad things as men not of the cloth!). This is one example but there are loads of similar ones throughout all episodes. I personally think it would be more compelling to present an objective view of the facts- the facts alone point to unquestionable reasonable doubt, so I don’t think the biased reporting helps. Secondly, all the presenters have a strange style of pausing for breath in the middle of a phrase / sentence. I am getting used to it but it’s really annoying and unnecessary!!! Saying that, apart from those 2 points it’s one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. So well researched, presented, and actually changing people’s lives. Amazing job!
