What Did You Do Yesterday? with Max Rushden & David O'Doherty
A podcast where people tell us what they did yesterday....
Wonderfully banal

And that’s the genius of this podcast! Finding the humour in the most uneventful, ordinary days, like we all do. It does feel like I’m eavesdropping on a conversation between 3 good mates, despite Max having never met the guests. As an avid listener of Max’s other work, it’s a rather sad indictment of my life that Max has such scope of influence on my happiness, or xH if you will. Fortunately, like Max’s other work, WDYDY is brilliant. DOD brings the whimsy and, vitally, the guests, whilst Max does his best to keep things on track, in pursuit of that mythical optimal pod time of 40 minutes. It’s a classic straight man/funny man comedy act. Keep up the good work lads.
Simple yet brilliant.

Very bloody enjoyable. Looking forward to this building to Max finally booking a guest and you spend an hour rushing Clive Mendonca through. Painfully dull day of cleaning his fish pond out. Keep up the good work, you’ll get there one day.
Beautifully basic

Such a refreshing concept. Too many podcasts get bogged down with content, features, production, planning, thought and professionalism. It’s just nice to listen to three nice people being nice. Seriously though, I love it and look forward to Max’s first guest.
Absolutely Brilliant

Excellent podcast, and a welcome antidote to the High Performance Podcasts of this world. I’ve been a listener since the beginning (usually while doing the washing up on a Sunday evening) but hadn’t felt compelled to leave a review. However, I’ve just listened to the Josie Long episode and the image of a young Max Rushden wanting a Chewbacca costume for his birthday but instead ending up roaming the mean streets of Cambridge dressed as Bungle from Rainbow has pushed me over the edge (and will be tough to beat). Highly recommended 👍
