Check out the resources below to learn more about the role of marine spatial planning in deep-ocean governance: Learn more about the Global Biodiversity Framework's ‘30x30’ Target discussed during the episode – an international goal to conserve 30% of the ocean by 2030. The IUCN have created a detailed guide to the target and its implementation, which you can find here. Kerry talks about the importance of engaging with all different stakeholders and the complexities of navigating these relationships. Kerry developed a schematic called the stakeholder onion to illustrate the various stakeholder processes at play. Learn more about the onion and MPA design in this paper.
