    Este episódio é mais um da série de países lusófonos pelo mundo, ou seja, países que tem o português como oficial. A Guiné-Bissau é um país localizado na costa oeste da África, limitando-se ao norte e leste com o Senegal e ao sul com a Guiné. Sua capital é chamada: Bissau. Além disso, o pais possui cerca de 80 ilhas do arqueológico dos Bijagós. A língua oficial foi herdado do período colonial, quando aconteceu a independência, eles decidiram manter a língua portuguesa como oficial. O português é utilizado na administração, na educação e na maior parte dos meios de comunicação. No entanto, a grande maioria da população guineense fala Criolo, que é uma língua com base no português, mas com influências africanas locais. Somente por volta de 15 por cento da população fala português, porém o país é pequeno, há por volta de 2 milhões de Guineenses, muitos são imigrantes de países vizinhos, como o Senegal. Essas porcentagens baixas de falantes de português é bem comum em países lusófonos africanos, pois o português é a língua ensinada nas escolas, porém uma parte da população não tem acesso a elas, então as línguas faladas são as aprendidas em casa. Na época da colonização, não tão antiga assim, nos anos 50, Portugal criou uma lei chamada Indigenato, onde os nativos do país eram proibidos acessar as escolas, por isso que o país teve pouco movimento político-literário, o que se difere dos outros países que já fiz episódios sobre que são Cabo Verde, Angola e Moçambique que tiveram movimentos político-literários mais expressivos. A diversidade linguística na Guiné-Bissau reflete a rica cultura do país, com várias etnias e grupos étnicos que contribuem para a riqueza da herança linguística da nação.
