Compulsive Listening

I came across this podcast through a recommendation on Twitter, and, as I was coming to the end of another series I'd been binging on, decided to give it a go. I was almost immediately hooked - the story of Alex Reagan's investigation into The Strand Institute's unsolved cases sucked me in right away. The layering of the various threads is expertly and intricately executed, and the different players become people you really care about. And perhaps most importantly, there are quite a few really chilling moments along the way - some of these stories are genuinely scary. Give The Black Tapes a go - you'll be glad you did.

Starts great, but season 3 was purgatory

Started so great and was so atmospheric and the first two seasons were great, but they seemed to lose momentum by season 3.
