    Teabagging A Kangaroo!

    Teabagging A Kangaroo!

What a way to end the season! This week the lads catch up with the head elf from the BBC's brilliant QI TV show, James Harkin. Here is a man who brings the trivia in a ridiculously impressive way. He's got facts and he knows how to use them. In tribute to some of their worst jokes on the podcast so far part 1 contains an explanation of the Tumbleweed plant.

£36,000 In A Suitcase? I Should Call The Police!

£36,000 In A Suitcase? I Should Call The Police!

Why would you travel to the other side of the world to play football in a rainy toad habitat? This is what Paul Watson, journalist, author and football enthusiast, found himself having to answer when he ended up in Pohnpei, a Micronesian island, with the mission to bring them the joy of football. It’s a story that involves calling on the Mormons, trying to win just one game of football and ending up in a bank in London with a suitcase full of money! There is so much to Paul’s story that we will have to do a second episode soon!

Sharks Have No Bones And Your Cat Is A Psychopath!

Sharks Have No Bones And Your Cat Is A Psychopath!

The fact that sharks have no bones is mind blowing. The fact that this fact is merely one of about 20 mind-blowing shark facts on this week’s podcast is even more mind blowing! All of these facts (and something terrible about shark reproduction!) are brought to us by the amazing Jaida Elcock, Shark Scientist, PhD student and co-founder of Minorities In Shark Sciences. As if that wasn’t enough, you won’t believe how scared of your cat you should be!

Exploding Head Syndrome And The History Of The Brain

Exploding Head Syndrome And The History Of The Brain

Ohh this one is a cracker. Professor of Biochemistry Luke O’Neill walks the lads through the history of the brain. He covers everything from electrocuting dead frogs to accidentally firing a rod through your noggin and all the discoveries these events led to.
He also casually drops in which philosopher had the brilliantly named ‘exploding head syndrome’.
In part, one Dave finally receives the legal advice on the use of emojis that he so desperately needs

Tasty

I’m still thinking about the Lindt Easter bunny I had last night. 5/5 stars

Amazing

While I’m over 40, I’ve always enjoyed a Wholenut. While my preference has ALWAYS been a Fruit and Nut, a wholenut will suffice if the former is not available. My daughter is 17 and loves Wholenuts also, so to say there are for old people is a fallacy. We’re not talking about Wherthers Originals here!!!

Had dinner there last night, amazing pasta dishes. Talked the ear off my husband all night about all the random facts I’ve learned from the podcast 😊👍🏻
Highly recommended
