Is President Trump going to bomb Iran?

Neither Iran nor the US appears overly eager to budge on their negotiations, though President Trump has issued threats and presented four demands for peace. It makes sense that Iran’s leaders would be hesitant to show weakness, but pretending they are in a position of strength when they're not is only going to make matters worse for them. Throughout Scripture, we find examples of people who lacked the self-awareness to see their situation objectively. The truth is that when we forget who God is, it becomes far easier to forget who we are as well. Article Description Elizabeth Angle and Gracie Brito were high school sophomores and best friends in Frisco, a suburb north of Dallas, who tragically died in a sledding accident. I cannot imagine these families’ grief and am so sorry for their loss. I am praying for them, asking God to be their help and peace in these terrible days. I’m also praying for a mother whose three young sons fell through an icy pond Monday and died. If God is truly sovereign, did he cause their pain? If not, how can he be truly sovereign? Trees exploding in Minnesota and frostbite in five minutes: A “generational” winter storm and the solidarity of our souls

A “devastating dose of winter weather” over the weekend left nearly 820,000 without power, canceled more than twelve thousand flights, and put twenty-three states and Washington, DC, under emergency declarations. A “generational storm” like this is one of the few things that can still unite us in an otherwise fragmented, polarized culture where even media and pop culture no longer hold us together. If it takes a storm endangering much of the country to remind us how connected we are, what does that say about our future?
