    This week we have... Mike and Bill's 4th of July, Freedom Episode. Mike started off with his reading and yes, it was about freedom. During our active addiction, we had no freedom at all. We were ruled by alcohol and drugs and life was a chore. Now we can do what we want, when we want (within reason) and life is far better. Enjoy the freedom. We ranted a bit about podcasters begging for money and using guilt along the way. We don't like that. Then it was on to social social media, being humble, using kind words, insignificant troubles, being critical and the word Diddy came up. Don't worry, we aren't supporters. We found out this week that Marc Maron will be ending his podcast this fall, after 16 years. He's one of us, someone we follow and enjoy and we will miss his show. But he is leaving with grace and on his own terms. That is the cool part. Then it was Founder's Day talk. The past, the present and why we enjoy it so much. We also chatted about Henry Winkler, an old review that we received and what have we always wanted to do? We are sober and have the freedom now, so that also gives us many options. This was one of the most laid back and comfortable conversations that we have had in a long time. She told us about her background, what got her into sobriety and what she does now. She is from Detroit (Mike liked that), she practices a lot of the same things that we do and she got sober during the pandemic. Her sobriety date is 01/09/2020.
