Can What You Wear Actually Bring Someone to Jesus?

Can what you wear actually bring someone closer to Jesus? On this episode of The Catholic Couple Podcast, Bobby sits down with Michael Kalivas, founder of Saintly Society, a Catholic clothing and apparel company creating hats, shirts, and Catholic gear designed to help Catholics boldly wear their faith. We talk about the story behind Saintly Society, Catholic entrepreneurship, evangelization, masculine Catholic style, and why something as simple as a Catholic hat or shirt can open the door to a conversation about Jesus Christ. Our Catholic faith was never meant to be hidden. Whether it’s at work, the gym, the grocery store, or walking through your neighborhood, what would happen if Catholics became more comfortable letting the world know who they belong to? Michael shares why he built Saintly Society, the mission behind the brand, and how Catholic apparel can become a simple tool for evangelization. Wear your faith. Start conversations. Point people toward Christ. What if evangelization doesn’t begin at church—but around your dinner table?

What if evangelization doesn’t begin at church—but around your dinner table? In Part 2 of our conversation on Catholic life and evangelization, we get practical about what it actually looks like to bring people closer to Jesus. Evangelization doesn’t always mean having the perfect theological argument or convincing someone to come to Mass. Often, it begins with the ordinary things we’re already doing: inviting someone into our home, sharing a meal, letting our kids play together, building genuine friendships, and putting Christ at the center of it all. The Catholic life is meant to be lived together. When our homes become places of hospitality, prayer, laughter, good food, honest conversation, and real Christian friendship, people can encounter something different—sometimes long before they ever walk through the doors of a church. The invitation to the altar may begin with an invitation to the table. In this episode, we talk about Catholic hospitality, authentic friendship, evangelization in everyday life, and how ordinary families can participate in the Church’s mission without turning every relationship into a “project.” If you want to share your Catholic faith but aren’t sure where to begin, begin with the life God has already given you. Open your home. Set the table. Invite somebody in. And put Jesus at the center. Shawn Ryan's Story Reveals Why Men Are Coming Back to Jesus

Shawn Ryan's return to faith has captured the attention of millions, but his story points to something much bigger. Across the country, more men are searching for truth, purpose, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. In his conversation with Tucker Carlson, Shawn Ryan shared how confronting the reality of good and evil, heaven and hell, became part of his journey back to faith. In this episode of The Catholic Couple with Just Bobby, we explore why so many men are returning to Christianity and what they're truly looking for. Is it simply a reaction to a broken culture, or is God calling hearts back to Himself? Scripture tells us that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom," but our faith is meant to mature into a deep relationship with the God who loves us. Sometimes people come to Christ because they see the light. Other times, they come because they feel the heat. Either way, God's desire is to lead us home. Join me as we discuss Shawn Ryan's journey, Tucker Carlson's observations, the growing hunger for authentic faith among men, and why this moment could be the beginning of a spiritual renewal. Why Good Catholic Men Quietly Drift Away

Why do so many good Catholic men slowly drift away from their faith? It's usually not because they stop believing in God. It's because they become isolated. After years of leading Catholic men's Bible studies, men's groups, retreats, and workouts, I've noticed a pattern. Men rarely walk away from Jesus overnight. Instead, they slowly drift through discouragement, busyness, loneliness, and a lack of authentic brotherhood. In this episode, I share my own story of drifting, the spiritual attacks that often come before God bears fruit, and why isolation may be the greatest battle facing Catholic men today. We'll talk about:  • Why good men quietly drift from the Church  • The hidden danger of isolation  • Spiritual warfare and discouragement  • Why brotherhood is essential for Catholic men  • How to stay faithful when the emotions fade  • Four practical steps to keep following Christ for the long haul Whether you're a husband, father, single man, men's ministry leader, or a wife wondering how to encourage your husband in the faith, I hope this conversation reminds you that you were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Remember... You don't become a saint by never falling. You become a saint by refusing to stay isolated when you do. 👍 If this video encouraged you, share it with one man who needs to hear it. 🔔 Subscribe for weekly conversations on Catholic discipleship, marriage, fatherhood, spiritual warfare, and practical ways to grow in holiness. #Catholic #CatholicMen #Discipleship #Brotherhood #Faith Beyond The BeaconJoin Bishop Kevin Sweeney for inspired interviews with Catholics living out our faith!Listen on: Apple Podcasts   Spotify https://linktr.ee/bobbyfred85 Purposelycatholic.com

Why Catholics Are Fighting More Than Ever

For years, it feels like Catholics have been asked to choose a side. Traditional or progressive. Latin Mass or Novus Ordo. Justice or truth. Mercy or doctrine. Evangelization or tradition. But what if we've been asking the wrong question? In this episode of The Catholic Couple, Bobby and Katie discuss why division has become one of the greatest challenges facing Catholics today and why the answer isn't picking another side—it's becoming a saint. Drawing from Scripture, Church history, René Girard's scapegoat theory, the Catechism, and the "both/and" vision behind Bobby's upcoming book Guardians and Prophets, we explore how the devil often divides the Church not through outright lies, but through half-truths that pull Catholics away from the fullness of the faith. We also discuss:  Why Catholic tribalism is growing  What René Girard teaches about scapegoating  The difference between Guardians and Prophets  What Catholics can learn from Protestants about discipleship and community  Why authentic relationships matter more than ever  Why we believe a real Catholic revival is happening  How the Eucharist holds everything together  Why the Mass is both the Sacrifice of Calvary and the Wedding Supper of the Lamb If you've ever been discouraged by Catholic infighting or wondered how we can move forward together, this conversation is for you. 👍 If this episode encouraged you, please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE it with someone who loves the Church and wants to see her flourish. 💬 QUESTION OF THE DAY: Have you experienced Catholic tribalism? What do you think is the biggest challenge facing the Church today? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
