SinBin Postgame Periscope - Seattle Kraken - April 9th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were searching for the 5th straight win with a victory over the Kraken in Seattle. Captain Mark Stone struck first midway through the opening period, scoring his 25th goal of the season. Immediately into the middle frame Stone scored his second of the night to give his club a 2-0 advantage. Late in the frame, the Kraken cut the Golden Knights lead in half. After 40 minutes Vegas lead 2-1. Brett Howden regained Vegas’ two goal lead 1:11 into the final twenty minutes. Shifts later the Kraken picked up their second goal off a weird bounce. A few minutes later Seattle tied the game at three goals apiece to force overtime and eventually a shootout. Seattle took the game in the late rounds of a shootout. The Golden Knights record drops to 36-26-17 falling to the Kraken 4-3 in SO. Next, Vegas will travel to Colorado for a meeting with the Avalanche on Saturday night. Puck drop in the Mile High City is scheduled for 5 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: It was a bit different than many we’ve been used to in the past because VGK were the ones holding onto the lead for the majority of this game. However, a bad bounce off the boards handed the Kraken a goal and VGK couldn’t seem to bounce back. Seattle’s skating showed up more and more as the game wore on which led to turnovers in the D-Zone. The OT period was madness and in SO, the 1-6 SEA (now 2-6) outlasted the 1-7 VGK (now 1-8). Fives Ken’s Three VGK Stars *** Rasmus Andersson ** Brayden McNabb * Mark Stone 2 goal lead in the 3rd period against a team that's lost 5 straight and 14 of 17 is not ideal. Not much you can do about that. 3-2 VGK — SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 10, 2026 Mark Stone on the other side of the goal. Not something we see a lot on the PP. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Buffalo Sabres - March 17th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to build on a two-game winning streak and prove they’ve truly found their stride against the dangerous Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres scored first on a goofy play behind the net that was shot off Adin Hill and into the goal before he could recover. Buffalo took the one goal lead to the locker room after the 1st. Both teams had opporunities on the PP in the 2nd but neither could break through. VGK appered to be getting closer and closer to leveling the game in the final frame but Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen proved to be too good on this game. The Golden Knights record falls to 31-23-14 after losing to the Sabres 2-0 at T-Mobile Arena. Next, Vegas will welcome Western Conference playoff contender the Utah Mammoth on Thursday. Puck drop against the Mammoth is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Ken) Analysis: A shockingly similar game to the one in Dallas last week. VGK looked like they were good enough to win the game but couldn’t convet offensively despite a decent number of chances. Part, maybe the main part, of the problem came from the fact that they were not dangerous directly in front of the goal enough on this night. Couple that with one of the best goalie performances by a visiting netminder all year and you end up with a goose-egg on the board. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Buffalo Sabres at T-Mobile Arena. SinBin Postgame Periscope - Chicago Blackhawks - March 14th, 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to build off their last win with a victory over the incoming Chicago Blackhawks. Vegas struck first on the power play off Pavel Dorofeyev’s 33rd goal of the season. Minutes later, the Golden Knights scored two goals in a matter of 25 seconds. Rasmus Andersson notched his 12th goal of the season and Keegan Kolesar recorded his 10th. Dorofoeyev scored his second PP goal of the game deep into the middle frame to give his club a commanding 4-0 advantage. Both teams spent most of the 3rd period attempting to kill each other. Neither succeeded. The Golden Knights record improves to 31-22-14 defeating the Blackhawks 4-0 at T-Mobile Arena. Next, Vegas will welcome the red-hot Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. Puck drop against the Sabres is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason) Analysis: For the first time in a while, VGK had a truly awful opponent on the schedule and they did exactly what you are supposed to do with them. VGK wasted no time in opening the scoring and then kept pouring it on. The health of the roster being in the best place it’s been has offered depth allowing the Golden Knights to stick it too weaker teams and they did just that tonight. Puck got to the front on the PP and VGK's sticks won the battle setting up for a tap-in for Dorofeyev. It's a PP goal so it's not quite the same, but winning those will go a long way moving forward if they can keep doing it. — SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) March 15, 2026 https://twitter.com/SinBinVegas/status/2033041929563505037 The post VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS 4 CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS 0 (31-22-14, 76 PTS) appeared first on SinBin.vegas.

SinBin Postgame Periscope - Pittsburgh Penguins - March 1st, 2026

Recap: After an extremely long stretch of continuous hockey, the Penguins found the game’s first goal. Vegas couldn’t find an answer before the end of the 1st period. In the 2nd, many of VGK’s middle frame problems cropped up again, and it got even worse when they had to kill penalties. Pittsburgh scored three times including two on the power play and the Golden Knights headed to the locker room staring at a massive four-goal deficit. It was not any better in the 3rd as the Golden Knights couldn’t break the shutout and allowed another goal late. The Golden Knights record drops to 28-18-14, falling to the Penguins 5-0 in Pittsburgh. Next, Vegas will face the Sabres on Tuesday. Puck drop in Buffalo is scheduled for 4 PM. (Recap by Ken) Analysis: The Golden Knights played the way they need to for about three minutes to open the game. It didn’t pay off with a goal and then they went back to the same problems they’ve had early in a lot of games this year. The difference today was that the pushback just never came. The biggest concern though is for Mark Stone. If he’s seriously injured, there are some major concerns. (Analysis by Ken) Upcoming stories from the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. No question about it. He's been bad. But, if you think trading the goalie is going to help, you might want to take a quick peek at the number next to VGK's logo on the scoreboard.
