Nur drei Tage später wird eine zweite Frau gefunden. Um ihren Hals ist ein T-Shirt gebunden, der Knoten ist derselbe wie bei der ersten Leiche. Bald verschwindet alle zehn Tage eine Frau. Die Ermittler sind sich sicher: Sie jagen einen Serienmörder. Doch wer er ist, bleibt lange ein Rätsel. Heute erzählen Linn und Leo von einem Fall, der sich von Österreich bis in die USA erstreckt. Für ihre Recherche reisen sie nach Österreich, stehen in einer alten Hütte in Kärnten, blättern in alten Tagebüchern und treffen Menschen, die damals mit dem Fall zu tun hatten.
