L’s ofrenda had a creepy moment, and her brother’s road trip took a spooky turn. Thankfully L lived to recount the tale! For our “trying something new” segment, we embraced full fall girl mode and hit a pumpkin patch.     Life comes at ya fast in your 30s, and this summer came in hot. We’ve been booked, busy, and a little overwhelmed, which means May’s episode is just now making its debut (yes, we know it's basically fall... please be gentle). The good news is we're switching to monthly episodes so we actually have time to live, try new things, edit, and upload the pod. This time around, L is rethinking her gym life. Is a fancy luxury gym really worth it, or is the community gym giving what it needs to give? You won’t hear L’s solo try recap this episode because S had the experience of a lifetime in Portugal. Remember when the power went out in half of Europe? Well, S was right in the middle of it, in the mountains, with no electricity and somehow made it through.     In our very first episode, we introduce 30 Flirty and Trying: the podcast where two best friends embrace their 30s by trying new things and spiraling publicly about it. We kick things off with a Girly Check-In, chat about why we’re doing this (besides the need for attention), and dive into our first Solo Tries! L ran a 5k, defies gravity and expectations (yes, the Wicked song played her to the finish line). S braves a solo night at a comedy club and narrowly avoids being roofied by a vet tech’s cat meds (???). It’s chaotic, inspiring, and a little unhinged, just the way we like it.
